    Description

      Problem Definition

When using the Object Updated Trigger, there is not a way to easily check which Attribute caused the Trigger to occur.

      Suggested Solution

A Changelog variable, or have new value variables would be very helpful to make sure that we are actioning the right thing and make the rule more efficient.

      Workaround

Find the previous attribute values when using "Object Updated" trigger in an automation rule

Note that, due to variable delays between backend systems in Jira, the above can fail when rapid updates occur to an Object.
i.e. if two updates occur rapidly, what the Rule returns when getting the Object History may or may not include the updates, and if so, might include both, resulting in undesirable outcomes.
