    Description

      Issue Summary

      • Custom Field User Picker ( Multiple Users ), Does not show the Preset and Hidden Values, as we set in the Request Forms/Request Type Page in the Jira Issue View. (Even when we enable: Use Request Type Fields)

      Steps to Reproduce

You can either use the predefined approvers field or create a new custom approvers field.

      Create a Custom Field

      1. Settings ( Cog Wheel ) > Custom Fields.
      2. Create a new - Multi User Picker Field
      3. Apply it to any screen, preferably a Approvals Workflow Screen.

      Add a Preset Value

      1. Go to the associated project of that screen applied in Step 3.
      2. Project Name > Project Settings > Request Types.
      3. Open the associated screens Request Type , Request Form Page.
      4. Drag the field you created to the View Screen and then Add a Value after checking
"Use Preset Value and Hide from Portal" then Click Save.

      Search for the Preset Value

      1. Now create a new issue using the same Issue and request type
      2. Check to see if you are able to see the value of the custom field preset
      3. Check "Use Request type fields" new feature and see behaviour.

      Expected Results

Should show the Preset and Hidden Value

      Actual Results

The preset and hidden value that you entered is above Steps is not seen.

      Workaround

      • Create an automation rule for the request type to add the approvers in the approval field after the creation of the request.
