Issue Summary
If a customer submits an email with a backslash on its subject, JSM's mail processor is unable to create the request.
Steps to Reproduce
- Submit emailed request to a project
- have a \ on the subject of the email
Expected Results
The email is processed and request is created.
Actual Results
The request creation fails with the following message on the incoming mail logs:
Your request could not be created. Please check the fields have been correctly filled in. Please provide a valid value for field 'Subject'
Workaround
Currently, there is no known workaround for this behavior. The email request must be submitted without a backslash on its subject.
