      We are marking this issue as closed because it is a duplicate of ID-7634 which has received more traction. We suggest voting and watch the ticket there as the source of truth.

      Due to this expected behaviour, an Info message could be prompted to administrators when enabling public signup in JIRA Service Desk 2.0 and above, particularly when they are connected to external user directories.
