      Issue Summary

When adding an attachment of a non-image file type (e.g., mp3, pdf, etc.) or an image without extension (e.g., .png, .jpeg, etc.) in a comment using Jira Service Management, the customer notification shows the following error:

Unable to embed resource: filename.ext of type application/filetype

      Steps to Reproduce

      1. Create a request in Jira Service Management.
      2. Attach a non-image file (e.g., mp3, pdf, etc.) to a comment.
      3. Review the customer notification and observe the error mentioned above.

      Expected Results

The customer notification should not display any error message and should convert the inline attachment to a direct link to display the attachment based on the "Attachment security" settings in the "Customer notification" settings under "Project settings".

      Actual Results

The customer notification displays the aforementioned error when a non-image file is attached to a comment.

      Workaround

Zip the files and add the .zip file to the issue.
