Issue Summary
When the project default language is set to another language (ie. Spanish) and English is set as a second language, the customer notifications email template (wrapper text) remains in English if 'Automatically detect browser setting' is selected in the customer profile.
Note - this issue is also seen when a user sends an email to the project (from a mobile device) and then receives request created notification. The mobile could have device language set to Spanish. In this case, there is no browser setting and no customer preferred language also is available in user's profile because they have not set it up.
Steps to Reproduce
- Set the project's default language to Spanish
- Add English (United States) as a second language
- Select the 'Automatically detect browser setting' option in the Language field when editing the customer account
- Open a ticket in the service project to receive the notifications (make sure the notifications are enabled in the service project)
Expected Results
The customer notifications should be sent using the project's default language.
Actual Results
The content of the notification is sent using the project's default language, but the email template is sent in English.
Workaround
The customer needs to change the language associated with their account by following the steps below:
1. Open the Help center > Select the avatar in the top right > Select Profile
2. In the Language field, select the correct language > Save
