Issue Summary
Recently the ticket https://jira.atlassian.com/browse/JRACLOUD-30128 was fixed for Jira Cloud, allowing users to use period or comma separators when logging time and still logged the time correctly.
For example: Logging 1,5h and 1.5h will log the same time in Cloud, whereas depending on the language settings in your profile for DC, this can cause 1,5h to log as 15hours instead.
Steps to Reproduce
- Set User language to English
- Create issue on Jira
- Log 1,5h and see 15h logged
- Log 1.5h and see 1.5h logged
Expected Results
Jira should log time regardless of separator used.
Actual Results
Depending on user language settings, Jira will ignore the separator used and log time incorrectly.
Workaround
Currently there is no known workaround for this behavior. A workaround will be added here when available
