    Description

      Issue Summary

This is reproducible on Data Center: Yes

The default transition issue screen is very small in size on windows Jira Software v9.4.3.

      Steps to Reproduce

      1. On Jira Software v9.4.3, open any project setting.
      2. Click on workflow and open any workflow.
      3. Create a new status.
      4. Link the newly created status to transition from one state to another and choose Default screen.
      5. Publish the change.
      6. Now create a new issue in the TO-DO state and then try to transition from the TO-DO status to the new status.
      7. This will open a transition window which will be very small in size.

In Windows, Scaling and DPI settings have been identified as a potential cause of this problem:

      • Check Windows Scaling and DPI settings, and if not set to 100%, try setting to 100%.
      • If the setting is already 100%, changing it to something else (90% for example) and changing it back to 100% can resolve the problem.
        • The reason this reset fixes the problem is unknown; it may be clearing an application-specific cache in the system.

The Scaling & DPI setting is changed on the affected client machine, not the Jira server.
