Cannot perform basic search towards a field with even though the search criteria matches its scope

      Issue Summary

      When performing basic search using custom field used in multiple projects, no values shows for selection. It shows "No Matches" in the drop down.

      In that case, I was able to perform an advanced search and select the value, but when switching back to basic search, the value was not supported.

      Steps to Reproduce

      • Create a custom field, use it in different context.
      • Try to perform a basic search, using it as criteria along with the correct issue type.

      Expected Results

      You should be able to to select that field's options.

      Actual Results

      You cannot perform a basic search using the custom field even though the criteria matches with its scope.

      Workaround

      Use advanced search instead.
