Dashboard (Startseite) navigation drop-down contains HTML tags when language is configured for German due to old language pack

      Summary

      Dashboard (Startseite) is containing HTML tags in the German translation, it shows as S<u>t</u>artseite instead.

      Steps to Reproduce

      1. Install a fresh JIRA instance using version 7.7.1
      2. Change the default or profile language to German

      Expected Results

      The Dashboard should be correctly translated to Startseite

      Workaround

      1. Go to JIRA Installation Directory/atlassian-jira/WEB-INF/atlassian-bundled-plugins/jira-core-language-pack-de_DE-7.7.1.v20180122100646.jar
      2. Edit the .jar far to .rar format and open it with WinRAR
      3. Go to com/atlassian/jira/web/action/JiraWebActionSupport_de_DE.properties
      4. Search for S<u>t</u>artseite, menu.dashboard.header=S<u>t</u>artseite
      5. Remove both <u> and </u> and save it
      6. Change the file formart back to .jar
      7. Restart your JIRA instance
