      Summary

      When browsing JIRA in IE 11, the browser memory increases and after some time IE does not response.

      Environment

      Any web-browser

      Steps to Reproduce

      1. Turn on F12 development tools, switch to Memory tab, and Start profiling
      2. Navigate to different JIRA pages (e.g. browse multiple projects/dashboards one by one)
      3. Notice an increase in memory usage for every page change

      Expected Behavior

      IE 11 garbage collection should kick in and free up memory periodically.

      Actual Behavior

      IE 11 continues to consume system memory until it eventually crashes:
