We enter all the initial estimates for issues in hours, yet JIRA displays the estimate in days and hours. For example:

If we enter 10 hours for an estimate JIRA will dislpay it as '1 day 2 hours'. The problem with this is that it gives an impression of elapsed time rather than the duration of the task/issue. The task may take 10 hours and be completed of 5 days (2 hours per day), so it has a duration of 10 hours and a elapsed time of 5 days.

It would be good to be able to specify the format for displaying the times. My preference would be to use hours only (10.5 hours) or hours and minutes (10 hours 30 minutes).
