NOTE: This bug report is for JIRA Server. Using JIRA Cloud? See the corresponding bug report.
From JIRA, go to More > Link > Confluence page
Insert a link using url encoding (such as https://confluence.atlassian.com/display/JIRAKB/%27The+project+you+are+trying+to+view+does+not+exist%27+Error+Message+Due+to+Project+Key+Pattern).
Expected result
- Receive an authentication dance for the Confluence instanced linked to the JIRA instance
- If the page exists, display the page and complete the link.
- If the page does not exist, display a "No page found" message
Actual result
- Directly receive an authentication dance for Confluence within the same frame
- The link button becomes greyed out
- No changes can be performed on the window any more, in order to make changes, the Link frame has to get pulled up fresh again.
