NOTE: This suggestion is for JIRA Server. Using JIRA Cloud? See the corresponding suggestion.
Current Scenario
It's currently possible to integrate JIRA with a SSO tool - see Single Sign-on Integration with JIRA and Confluence. However, JIRA will show any pages that do not require login (such as https://jira.atlassian.com/secure/Dashboard.jspa). Which leads user to be rerouted to JIRA login page, instead of the SSO
Suggestion
Add an option to JIRA's General Configuration to redirect any users that are not yet logged in to the SSO to the log in page in the SSO.
