Bullet List displays too much white space and renders incorrectly

      Summary

      Bullet lists for nested items display incorrectly, with white space appearing. Additionally, preview displays the white space below where as the actual comment displays it above.

      Steps to Reproduce

      1. Add the following to a comment: 
        * This is OK
* As is this (~[mention])
** And this one
* But it gets bad here!
      2. Preview it and watch for the white space.
      3. Save it and watch the white space

      For example:

      Expected Results

      There is no white space in either preview or the saved comment where the arrow is pointed in the example screenie.

      Actual Results

      There is white space, below and above the bullet.

      Notes

      Without the mention the comment renders without error but the preview still renders incorrectly:

      • This is OK
      • As is this
        • And this one
      • But it gets bad here!
