Opening filters having Select List CF that is using Multi Select Searcher search template will produce WARN messages in the logs

    Description

      Upon opening saved filters in the Issue Navigator which search criteria is based on Select List custom field and is configured to use the Multi Select Search search template, the following WARN messages will be thrown in the logs file:

      2012-01-19 10:06:59,882 http-8085-4 WARN admin 606x129x1 1u5tcwn 0:0:0:0:0:0:0:1 /secure/IssueNavigator.jspa [velocity] Could not determine type of iterator in #foreach loop  at [0,0] in template templates/plugins/fields/view-searcher/view-searcher-multioption.vm

      Steps to reproduce:

      • Create a Select List custom field, with a several options configured to it. Configure the CF to use the Multi Select Searcher search template
      • Create several issues with having the Select List CF populated with values
      • Perform search in the Issue Navigator, using the Select List CF as the search criteria
      • Save the search results, and the WARN message will be thrown. Opening the filter again will also produce the same WARN message

      Tested in JIRA 4.2.4 and 4.3.4, the problem doesn't exists in the version. This bug may seem to be a regression of JRA-7484
