Steps to reproduce
- Default language English (UK) at Administration >> Global Settings >> General Configuration and user profile
- Go to Administration >> Issue Settings >> Statuses >> Translate
- Translate the Status for German (Germany) or any other languages but it is not working. No matter what you type inside the field, your current default English translation will be used in the field. For example, insert "Test 1" and "Test 2" as name and description for 'Open' status
- After you have saved, change the default language at Administration >> Global Settings >> General Configuration to be German (Germany).
- "Test 1" and "Test 2" are not used as the name and description for 'Open' status
- If you want to translate other language, first you need to translate your default language before you translate the other as it will only take the translation of your default language as input. You can also change the language at Administration >> Global Settings >> General Configuration or user profile before the translation
This error happens to Issue Types, Priorities and Resolution Translations also
