Would it be possible to add in an option to reply directly to a comment already posted in a JIRA issue?

Functionality would mimic that of Crucible code reviews. It would be good to "quote" a previous comment and then add a comment below it (similar to a forum) or inject my comments inside someone else's.

An example of this would be:
