Export Current_fields to Excel use default column order instead filter's order after modification of the current view

      Steps to reproduce:
      1. Create filter.
      2. Edit filter's column order. (delete or change order of columns) Save filter.
      3. Export current fields to excel. (Attachment: "ExportToExcelTest+Atlassian+JIRA.xls")
      3. Sort by column 'Reporter'.
      4. Export current fields to excel. (Attachment: "Atlassian+JIRA-1.xls")

As you can see the second excel file contains the default column order, but I expected the copy of the current view.

This also affects the "Printable" view.

Same here (pivot table, tweak in query)

We'd like to see this fixed, too. Every month we have to generate a pivot table for our managers. We start with a common filter with custom columns, but the query needs a little tweaking every time. Nasty surprise later when the required field is missing from Excel's pivot table builder's list. Is our case we aren't allowed to modify the default columns, so we end up saving a new filter every month.

We're running 3.13 at my company with the same issue. We're using Time Tracking now for billing purposes. We dump a filter to Excel, apply a pivot table to it, and then send to accounting. We have a shared filter with the right column order set up, but each billing period we need to set a date range on the filter and then dump to Excel. This means that we have to save the filter after setting the date range, otherwise you get unexpected results. It's not a killer, but it is very annoying.

            Hi,

The problem is reproducible using JAC as per Alexander's instructions.

After removing some columns from the filter (Step 2) and then resorting the column, the URL changed from

The Issue Navigator now sorts according to the column and the sort shows up correctly. However, the columns which were removed from the saved filter showed up in the 2nd export.

            Regards,
            Timothy

            Hi Alexander,

I noticed that you placed Affects Version/s as 3.12.3. As I know of, 3.12.2 has not been released yet. Can you please confirm with me on this?
