      Problem

The site is upgraded to a new issue view however the page createissue.jspa still uses the old issue view and formatting while creating issues.

Steps:- Use the below link to create an issue and observe the old issue view.
      https://abc.atlassian.net/secure/CreateIssue.jspa?issuetype=11111&pid=22222

      Suggestion

Continue using the createissue.jspa and Upgrade the createissue.jspa from the old issue view to the new issue view.

      Workaround

[JRACLOUD-83874] Upgrade the page createissue.jspa to new issue view.

Atlassian wikimark up is not working if there is a direct jira url to create the issue. We need this feature, as we take in a lot of new requests this way.

Using URL's to prepopulate fields in the create issue form is critical. Either the old CreateIssue.jspa interface needs to align with the new popup form (including the option for users to customize the fields), or a URL to the new form needs to be supported.

The suggested workaround to use the REST API is ridiculous. Jira should provide a useful and customizable interface out of the box.

Using "CreateIssueDetails!init.jspa" shows permanently validation errors on required fields - if you fill those fields - the validation errors not disappear but you can submit the form. You can not to fill fields by adding arguments in link by using "CreateIssue.jspa". Issue collector required default user to be set and user has to manually add his email what is also the unwanted feature. All tickets untouched or closed - it time to polish this area.

External apps which integrate with Jira (like qTest Manager and probably others too) use createissue.jspa to enable users to create bugs into pre-selected projects within Jira. While createissue.jspa still uses the old issue view experience, this means that any users using integrated apps to create issues in Jira, are seeing outdated and unsupported create issue form. Please upgrade createissue.jspa to new issue view so that it provides a consistent experience with the rest of Jira.
