    Description

      Issue Summary

At this point, it is only possible to view all dashboards (as a Jira Administrator) via the UI, as described in Manage shared dashboards article, yet the Search for dashboards endpoint won't return any private dashboards. Having the possibility to use the "overrideSharePermissions" parameter for the mentioned endpoint would add value to the product and reduce the amount of administrative effort required to obtain the information, making it a win-win situation.

      Steps to Reproduce

      1. Send a GET request to the Search for dashboards endpoint, while specifying (for instance) an accountId as the parameter.

      Expected Results

The Jira Administrator sending the request should be able to retrieve a list of all dashboards, including private ones for the specified accountId.

      Actual Results

The above GET request is not going to return any private dashboards.

      Workaround

Change the owner of the dashboard(s) in question via the UI, as mentioned at the top of this suggestion.
