Issue Summary
In Work Logs Description field the @ mention feature appears to work but does not actually send any notifications.
Steps to Reproduce
- Go to an issue and log some time so that the native (non-Tempo) Time-tracking modal opens
- Enter some time so that the Description field appears. Observe that in the Description field the following message shows:
Type @ to mention a teammate and notify them about this issue.
- @ mention someone. Observe that this appears to work:
But if you go to the account of the user that was mentioned, you will see that they do not receive an in-app or email notification. - The same is true of custom fields that use a wiki renderer:
Expected Results
Either send the notifications OR don't make it seem like they are working if they don't actually send notifications.
Actual Results
@ mention appears to work but does not send any notifications.
Workaround
Currently there is no known workaround for this behavior. A workaround will be added here when available
