Issue Summary
We had an announcement that the format of date/time picker fields in Jira will not be defined in the Look and feel anymore, but by the language selected for each user (See JRACLOUD-68381). However, there are some sites where the time format of the date fields/columns in the issue navigator section neither respect the "look and feel" settings or the language selected, displaying an arbitrary format (MMM, dd yyyy hh:mm a) which does not seem to be defined by any logic way.
Steps to Reproduce
- Navigate to Settings > System > Look and feel
- Ensure the date format is the default (dd/MMM/yy)
- Ensure the Date/time format is the default (dd/MMM/yy h:mm a)
- Select the language "English UK" in your personal settings
- Navigate to the global issue navigator
- Using the List view, select a date/time picker field to be displayed as a column
Expected Results
The format of the date/time fields/columns of the view should be displayed in the format related to the language selected (dd MMM yyyy, hh:mm), just like it works for the issue view.
Actual Results
The format displayed is "MMM, dd yyyy hh:mm a":
