Issue Summary
As per the documentation Manage project permissions
Delete a permission scheme
Every company-managed project requires a permission scheme to function. If you delete a permission scheme that’s associated with one or more projects, those projects will fall back to using the Default Permission Scheme. You can't delete the default permission scheme.
When we try to delete a permission scheme which is associated with the project the message will be "Note: dev permission scheme is currently associated with: space-land.If you delete this scheme all associated projects will be associated with the Default Permission Scheme"
When we click on delete error message will pop up "The scheme cannot be deleted when there are projects associated with it."
This is reproducible on Data Center: (yes) - https://jira.atlassian.com/browse/JRASERVER-33588
Steps to Reproduce
- Login to your JIRA instance
- Create a test permission scheme
- Go to a project and associate the permission scheme created with that project
- Now go back to the Permission Schemes and try to delete the permission scheme.
Expected Results
The line "If you delete this scheme all associated projects will be associated with the Default Permission Scheme" is confusing, because this is not how Jira is behaving.
Actual Results
Wrong message displayed on the dialog box.
