Ability to support the date older than 100 years in Data/Time custom field

      Issue Summary

      Currently, Jira only supports 100 years back in the Data/Time custom field and if one enters the date beyond 100 years, Jira will automatically convert the year to the future.
      For example:
      If the user enters 18 Jan 1928, upon refresh, it will change to 18 Jan 2028.

      Workaround

      No known workaround is possible at this moment.
