Description
Issue Summary
- Create issue form doesn't refresh when the selected project is changed
- Fields with predefined values don't update during the issue creation process - this can lead to incorrect values for fields in newly created issues
- Jira Service Desk request types affected, but the problem is with the create issue form in Jira
Steps to Reproduce
- On one project, create a new Jira Service Desk request type with hidden fields that have predefined values.
- On another project, create a new Jira Service Desk request type without any hidden fields
- Create a new issue in Jira and ensure that the project/request type containing the hidden fields is selected
- Change the project/request type to the one that doesn't have the hidden fields
Expected Results
- The form refreshes and the fields are displayed in the form without any values set or the correct values set
Actual Results
- The predefined values from the other project(CLAS in this example) remain in the hidden issue fields when creating an issue. The form doesn't refresh.
Workaround
- Change the project to the desired project, change the Type to another value, then revert back to the intended Type/request type
