      Problem definition

When trying to perform a CSV import, the user cannot select which Project Template and Type are being created. The current documentation Importing data from CSV does not include the information for importing the Project Type.

      Suggested solution

Update the documentation to reflect this by explaining that the "Project Type" column should be added with the possible values as "Software, Business, and service_desk"

      Possible Workaround

If a user would like to create a project while importing issues from a CSV file, what is possible to accomplish is while importing, when selecting the project, we can create a new one and specify its type and template.

What a massive waste of time figuring this out when all someone has to do is update the documentation and template. What would it take? 30 min? Clearly, your time is more valuable than mine in your opinion. I respect my customer's time more than this

I just lost a lot of time trying to get an upload to an existing Project to work only to find out the Atlassian example documentation on the official site is in error and the problem has been know about for at least 7 months...

Pretty unimpressive to say the least.

While including a "Project Type" column fixed my upload it is clearly a bug. Why should I need to define a type if the Project already exists?
