Cannot Upload Attachments on Issue Transition Screens if Attachment field is not present on screen

    Description

      Summary

      The attachment is not uploaded when trying to paste an attachment from the clipboard during a transition if the attachment field has not been added to the transition screen.

      Steps to Reproduce

      1. Go to an issue and make a transition (make sure the transition contains a screen that does not include the Attachment field)
      2. Ctrl + C to copy the attachment from the local machine
      3. Ctrl + V to paste the attachment into the comment box

      Expected Results

      The attachment is uploaded, and the wiki markup of the attachment is automatically added to the comment

      Actual Results

      • The attachment is not uploaded

      Workaround

      Add the Attachment field to the transition screen
