Gmail accounts will only allow access to accounts using OAuth early next year. Suggestion to provide OAuth support for Gmail accounts

Workaround

Unless Atlassian provides the OAuth support for Gmail accounts, use the following workarounds to ensure Jira continues to process incoming email

Enable 2FA and create the app password using document https://support.google.com/accounts/answer/185833?hl=en
Setup automatic forwarding from your Gmail account to the project's default mail handler
