Problem Definition
Currently, Jira doesn't have the condition/validator to check the link of the issues. Example: Is there an article/issue linked with the current issue? If no, the user should not able to transition the issue to the next status.
Suggestion
It would be nice to have a Workflow validator/condition that allows us to restrict users to transition the issue only if there is a link to an issue or a Confluence page.
Why this is important
- This way we would make sure that before closing the ticket our users have linked the ticket to a KB article.
- Make sure the user had linked the related issues before proceeding with the next step.
