Hi Everyone,
Thank you for providing your valuable feedback and insights on this issue. We understand the frustration caused by the lack of ability to view specific child issue fields within the child issue panel, and we truly appreciate your patience.
We are actively considering and listening to your feedback and internally discussing the priority in relation to other things on the roadmap. In the meantime, we encourage you to continue adding your votes and comments to the issue to help us gauge the demand for this feature accurately. Our current focus is on initiatives to enhance ease of use and performance & reliability, as these have been identified as urgent priorities across all our users.
As an alternative way to view the subtasks and selected subtasks fields in a broader project view, we recommend utilising
the Issue Navigator, which offers a more feature-rich and performant experience for viewing issues and subtasks. By filtering your search by sub-tasks and selecting the fields you want to organize and display, you can gain better visibility into important details like due dates and other relevant information. While this workaround doesn't fully resolve the original issue, we believe it offers an alternative in the interim.
We value your feedback and are committed to making Jira better for all users. Thank you for your understanding and support as we work to improve Jira.

Hi everyone,
Thank you for taking the time to share your valuable feedback with us. Your input is greatly appreciated, and we understand the effort and dedication it takes to provide us with your thoughts and ideas.
We aim to maintain transparency and honesty with our users, and with that being said, we regret to inform you that updating the functionality you have requested will not be prioritised in the near term. We understand that this may not be the answer you were hoping for, especially considering the benefits this functionality brings to your workflow. However, our current roadmap is focused on addressing the highest priority feedback themes based on customer feedback, such as performance, reliability, and improving the user experience in areas with the broadest reach.
We do have this on our backlog as part of an initiative to improve the way sub-task and linked issues work on the issue view. I will leave this ticket open allowing you to add more context and feedback.
Thank you again for your feedback,
Ahmud

Original title: updating jira.table.cols.subtasks in Advanced Settings has no effect in new experience
Summary
It is not possible to configure what fields / columns appear in the Child issues, Subtasks and Linked issues sections when viewing a parent issue. Previously (in the old issue view) this was configurable in System > General configuration > Advanced settings using jira.table.cols.subtasks. There is no comparable feature for the new issue view (which is now the only view available in Jira Cloud.
Steps to Reproduce
Current view of the Child issues and Linked issues sections on an issue in a company-managed project:

Actual Results
The Subtask doesn't show the added fields.
Expected Results
The Subtask should show the added fields configured in Advanced Settings.
Notes
The columns (list of sub-tasks) sequence is not being followed.
