Make "Organizations" custom field available for Work Management and Software Projects

      Problem

      We need the Organizations field to track our clients in JIRA Software projects, however, this field is only available for Service Desk projects. JIRA does not provide any warnings and it's not possible to make this field visible outside SD projects.

      When using the field on non Service Desk projects, you get the following error:

      Search failed. Try reloading the issue.

      Suggestion

      • Allow Business and Software projects to use the "Organizations" field.
      • Update the documentation.
