      This was originally requested in JRA-28290. It was closed in August 2015 since it was not something that could be put on the short-to-mid term roadmap. I am opening a new ticket to have the ability to change default attachment sort order investigated once more. I have spoken to a number of JIRA users who wish to have this functionality.
