            09570bb44237 thanks for your response.

If I am not mistaken, the draft is at least gone as soon as you close your browser. Also, it is absolutely unclear that the draft is somehow saved. There is no way to see this unless you attempt to write a new comment.

I just tested this and after quitting and reopening the browser, this is what I see when going to the ticket I previously started (but did not save) a comment on:

There is a related feature request that I believe is better aligned with the current functionality of the product: JRACLOUD-74735Ability to see all unsaved comments.

If the watchers of this issue agree, I believe this ticket can be closed, but I will wait a week before doing so in case anyone disagrees. Thanks!

Can the watchers of this issue clarify what the current ask is as I believe the behaviour has changed since this ticket was first created. Comments do in fact autosave; for example, you can go to the full issue page (browse/issue-key) and start typing a comment and don't click Save. Then navigate to a different page. If you then open up that issue again, you will see your comment draft.

In order to remove this draft state, you need to press Save or Cancel.

            Hi, there.

I was badly surprised when I lost a big piece of my comment during switching between projects. Draft comments must be auto-saved (on server or in cookies, nevermind)!
