Can you please also fix the poor UI of the dialog that appears when you accidentally navigate away from a draft?

            The prompt says:

You have Entered a comment on this issue. If you navigate away from this page without first saving, the comment will be lost.

            Cancel OK

When I’m creating a comment and then I accidentally click a link or push a key that takes me to a different page, this is not “OK” because I don’t want to lose my comment. Therefore, I click “Cancel”, because I want to cancel the accidental attempt to navigate away. However, clicking Cancel allows the navigation to proceed, completely losing the comment!

There is a app on marketplace that does the trick for comments - saving issue descriptions as draft is coming soon:

However, this is only for jira server.

I would prefer a "DO NOT NOTIFY" checkbox/attribute when comments are submitted.  Our use case involves storing what amount to records in jira, and having them sent out as email is just added noise for the participants.

Auto-Save per se would be a great addition to Jira. Be it when initially creating an issue or if writing or editing a comment.
Confluence also has it (https://confluence.atlassian.com/doc/configuring-the-time-interval-at-which-drafts-are-saved-181537852.html and https://support.atlassian.com/confluence-cloud/docs/configure-the-autosave-interval-for-drafts/) for a reason.

This should be implemented out of respect. With no indication that my session has expired I am lured into continuing my work, even though the machine already knows this data will be lost on "submit" or "save".
The countless hours of work people have lost due to a timed out session and with their thoughts and ideas already seemingly persisted into a textbox is just no comparison to the hours required to implement this.

            Hi, there.

I was badly surprised when I lost a big piece of my comment during switching between projects. Draft comments must be auto-saved (on server or in cookies, nevermind)!
