We would like to express our strong interest in the ability to assign more than one participant to a task. This functionality is crucial for our team workflow, as tasks often require collaboration among multiple responsible members.

We are eagerly awaiting the implementation of this feature in Jira and hope it will be prioritized soon.

For me I want Jira to support agility and recognised pairing and therefore an ability to have multiple assignees (which empowers team members to share what they are working on asynchronously)

This is possible in Trello and Microsoft Planner. This seems like such a basic feature that Jirashould have always had.

I'd also like to see this implemented, where you can assign multiple, specific people to an issue.

Many orgs do collaborative programming, pairing, and similar, where a pair (or more) of folks work on a particular issue.

I'd like to be able to reflect that on Jira issues.

Example; if Sally Smith, and John Jameson are working on an issue, I'd like to see both of their names show in the Assignee field on an issue.

Another suggestion could be, to have another field like 'Contributors'.

When it is required to back trace an issue for any reason, and 'assignee' is not available, it would be good to discuss with any contributors who would have worked on the issue.
