Default avatar image not loading in notifications

      Summary

      If the user has the default avatar (the silhouette) and updates an issue the notifaction that is sent does not load any image for the avatar.

      Environment

      • JIRA v7.1.0-OD-05-006

      Steps to Reproduce

      1. Create a user, do not change their avatar, leave it as the default silhouette.
      2. Update an issue with that user so that a notification is sent

      Expected Results

      The resulting email will show the default avatar for the user.

      Actual Results

      No avatar is shown next to the user's name.

      Workaround

      Get the user to set their avatar.
