      NOTE: This suggestion is for JIRA Cloud. Using JIRA Server? See the corresponding suggestion.

      Please consider the below changes

      • Let user himself decide which notifications to receive
      • Support email digesting (e.g. merge consequent changes into one notiifcation message)
      • In each email, show the reason why it has been received, with link to personal notification settings page

      This all will make JIRA really good enterprise-level product. Lot of products have such functionality.
