      Thanks for your feedback on this feature request. Unfortunately it is not currently on our roadmap; however we are interested in your feedback so we can consider it for the future. There are several third-party add-ons that provide this function:

      JIRA Server

      Sure would be nice for the search results screen to show if a issue has an attachment.

      Also the ability to search for particular attachment by name (and pattern) would be handy too.
