When you email in to JIRA, its mail handler strips embedded images and "font" formatting from the incoming email. This results in the email in JIRA being very hard to read and use.

As a workaround you can add the images as attachments and then use [!filename.ext] to insert it where you want it, but that's a real pain. As is manually reformatting emails to get the bolding and such back.
