      There needs to be an option to disable per project (admin driven) or per issue (user driven).

      Multiple threads, issues, and discussions exist on this topic. Previous issues have been closed as wontfix but not detailed why.

      Disabling the wiki-style editor or requiring a noformat/code macro is insufficient for software development teams that will often need to use brackets and parenthesis.
