Mention replies should work like JIRA notification replies

      NOTE: This suggestion is for JIRA Cloud. Using JIRA Server? See the corresponding suggestion.

      When you mention an user on an issue, JIRA sends a different notification, where the reply-to header is not the account configured in JIRA's Outgoing mail.

      This can lead to confusion, when one user mentions another on an issue, the reply by mail should update the JIRA issue.

            This fix has not made it to JIRA Cloud yet, it will be included in the next update which is currently scheduled for the 4th of May. This date is only an estimate and might change due to unforeseen circumstances.

            Hi all,

            I have a question about this fix. Should it work out of the box or are there any adjustments in the admin settings? We are on Cloud/OnDemand, and I notice we are on version 6.5-OD-01-120 - which would lead me to believe that this fix should be in place. But I just did a test - and the reply goes directly to the user. The noticeable change is that it now includes the KEY in the subject line, but the reply does not seem to go back to Jira as this ticket intends. The FROM address continues to be the individual user.
