      NOTE: This suggestion is for JIRA Cloud. Using JIRA Server? See the corresponding suggestion.

      Currently there is a way to stop the UPM from connecting to the outside world, recently it's been found the the GreenHopper feedback form also tries to connect outside too, and the RapidBoards fail if it can't connect, that's been documented here.

      It would be probably best especially if these cases keep cropping up that there's just one flag to rule them all that will stop JIRA outbound connections so customers don't have to perform many piecemeal fixes for this issue.
