Guys, Jira on premise is dead...

 We have multiple projects and sprint teams, so having custom email notification templates makes sense. This ticket has been open for over two decades now , is there a plan to introduce this functionality sometime in the near/distant future...?

We have a couple projects with some sensitive data in their issues and it would best to not send it through the e-mail system.   

Just add email issue type schemes, just like you have issue type screen schemes per project.

Let the admins, or project admins, pick which fields are sent in which notifications.

That was  the big ask.

How about just something simpler like:

{{#if($issueType == "BUG") }}The content you'd like to display for this project for a bug type issue.

#else

content that is not for a BUG issue type but is for PRJKEY project issues.

Content for any other type project

• Archiving projects for improved performance
• Optimising the use of custom fields
• Improving performance of boards

• Improving Jira notifications
• Allowing users to edit shared filters and dashboards
• Mobile app for Jira Server
