Portfolio room: Features do not show as children of an Epic if their Program is outside the chosen Portfolio

      Issue Summary

Single Program Features that are children of a Multi-Program Epic are not displayed in the Portfolio Room (Execution View) if the Primary Program set in the Feature is not in the Portfolio chosen when opening the Portfolio Room.

      Enhancement Details

Please provide a method to display (in the Portfolio Room) all Single-Program child Features under an Epic (that is itself linked to a Program in the Portfolio) no matter what Program is assigned to the Features.

As showing Single-Program Features that have no direct relationship to the chosen Portfolio may not be desirable for all customers, a setting or toggle will probably be needed to chose the Portfolio Room behaviour  giving a choice of:

      • Show all Features that are children of an Epic (where that Epic is linked by either Primary Program or Additional Program to the chosen Portfolio) - requested new behaviour
      • Show only Features that have a relationship to the chosen Portfolio, via the feature's Primary Program or Additional Program field, that are also children of an Epic (where that Epic is linked by either Primary Program or Additional Program to the chosen Portfolio) - behaviour since version 11.5.x

      Steps to Reproduce

      1. Use a Jira Align configuration with  two Portfolios (that don't have Capabilities or Multi-Program Features/Approach enabled) and a Program, in each Portfolio (such as Portfolio A/Program A and Portfolio B/Program B)
      2. Create an Epic with the Primary Program set to Program A and the Additional Program Set to Program B
      3. Under the Epic create 2 child features
      4. In Feature A set the Primary Program to Program A
      5. In Feature B set the Primary Program to Program B
      6. Go to Portfolio > Portfolio A > Portfolio Room and make sure Executive View is selected.
      7. Expand the Epic in the view and only Feature A will be displayed but Feature B won't be. (see the below image where descriptive names have been given to Feature A & Feature B and the red arrow indicates the feature that is not displayed in the Portfolio Room where the Details Panel of the Epic showing the child features was opened from this view)

This request relates to a bug that has already been fixed that addressed an issue where a Multi-Program feature under an Epic was not seen in the Portfolio Room if the Primary Program of the Feature and Epic were not the same (but the Multi-Program feature did have an Additional Program set to the Primary Program of the Epic). See
      https://jira.atlassian.com/browse/JIRAALIGN-5889

Due to the above bug being resolved there is a workaround where you can make the feature show in the Portfolio Room by changing the feature to a Multi-Program Feature and adding the Portfolio chosen, when entering the Portfolio  Room, to the Feature as an Additional Program. However not all customers want to use multi-program features so this option will not suit all
