Issue Summary
Users are experiencing difficulties in filtering content effectively in the Jira Align New Navigation, particularly on the Program Board. Previously, in the Old Navigation, users had access to Advanced Configurations (Tier 1) that allowed for broad filtering across various pages. This functionality is missing in the New Navigation, which now only supports contextual, page-specific filters (Tier 2). The absence of this filter reduces efficiency and limits user ability to manage and view relevant data quickly on the Program Board.
Steps to Reproduce
- In the old navigation, go to Tier 1, click on the gears icon, and open the Advanced Search.
- On this screen, you have a field to search by Tags.
- Navigate to the Program Board, and you will find a filter for Tags/Labels.
- This functionality is not available in the new navigation as the Advanced Search has been disabled and replaced page by page.
Expected Results
Be able to search by TAG/Label in Program Board or any other pages is it was possible in Old Nav
Actual Results
The option is not available
Workaround
Currently there is no known workaround for this behavior. A workaround will be added here when available
