Program Board History Page Failing To Load When History Data Is Large

      Issue Summary

      Customer with large amounts of history data are unable to view Program Board History when the "Select All" Program option is chosen or when the selected Program has a high number of history records.
      Due to the amount of history data available, If the page eventually loads and displays some records, on attempts to scroll through, the browser crashes with various errors such as "Out of Memory".

      Steps to Reproduce

      1. On a Jira Instance with large amount of History data
      2. Select a Program and PI
      3. Open Program Board
      4. Select History
      5. When the History loads for the current Program, in the Program field, choose "Select All"

      Expected Results

      The history page is able to display records for the selected Program or All programs regardless of the amount of data.

      Actual Results

      The page attempts to load all history for all programs and due to the size of the data, the page fails to render.

      Workaround

      If attempting to view for All programs, you can try the below approaches;

      1. View history on a Program by Program basis.
      2. If facing this issue even on 1 program, users can view the program board history for one Feature at a time for the affected Program, by;

      • Select the Feature on the program board
      • On the quick view Features slide out page, select "Click Here" in the Details item
      • On the pop up page, view the "Change History" section

      3. Utilise the filters on the history page to limit the data to a specific data range. Please follow the steps below;

      • Open the Program Board for a Particular Program
      • Click History
      • When the page loads for the specific program, Click the "+" sign
      • Input your desired filter such as "Dates" or "Portfolios"
      • Click "Run Report"
      • After the report executes for the specific program, then Click the Program dropdown and choose "Select All"
