Issue Summary

New Nav: PI filter selection should persist across programs or portfolios that share the same PI

Old Nav preserved the PI in Tier 1 filter when switching between Programs or Portfolios. New Nav now requires more clicks to get back to the desired view.

Steps to Reproduce

• With the following hierarchy:

  Portfolio A (Program 1) and Portfolio B (Program 2)
  PI-1 (owned by Portfolio A, assigned to Programs 1, 2)
  PI-2 (owned by Portfolio A, assigned to Programs 1, 2)

1. From New Nav, select Portfolio > Portfolio A
2. Change the PI filter selection from PI-1 (default) to PI-2
3. Select Backlog
4. From the left side nav, change to Portfolio B

Expected Results

Displays PI-2 backlog for Portfolio B

Actual Results

Displays PI-1 backlog for Portfolio B

Workaround

Reset / select the PI filter for each new Portfolio or Program... which is more work (less efficient) than the old nav
