Issue Summary
My User with a Program Manager Role does not have permission to Edit EPICs. When trying to EDIT notes for an EPIC from Status Report, it gives me a permission error but I am able to add Notes from the Roadmap view.
Steps to Reproduce
- Log in to JA, with a user who has (Roles -> Portfolios ->Manage -> EPICS -> Add) edit permission for EPIC disabled.
- Go to Roadmap and select Program and Portfolio from the T-1 filter.
- Go to "View Configuration" and Check "Notes" from the Custom Columns section. Click Apply.
- In the Notes Column, "Add Notes" to any EPIC and Save.
- Now go to "Reports" and open the Status Report and Click on EPIC.
- Click on the EPIC for which Notes were Edited in Step No.4.
- We can see the Added Notes in the Notes section at the bottom.
- Click on Edit the Notes, and we get the error "You need more Access to View This Page".
Expected Results
At Step 8, we should be able to Edit Notes, as we could do it from Roadmap view.
Actual Results
Error: "You need more Access to View This Page".
Workaround
Currently, there is no known workaround for this behaviour. A workaround will be added here when available
