    Description

      Issue Summary

When users integrate Jira & Jira Align currently if users have HTML syntax in the description field in Jira, Jira Align will sync and create the work item in Align. However, this causes an issue in Jira Align because users will not be able to modify the work item (associate to a release or release vehicle). In Jira Align users will receive a "Forbidden resource can't be accessed" warning.

      Steps to Reproduce

      1. Step 1 - Ensure you have Jira & Jira Align integration configured
      2. Step 2 - Create a feature in Jira with HTML syntax in the description field
      3. Step 3 - Once the feature syncs to Jira Align then try to associate a release vehicle

      Expected Results

Possibly consider modifying the toaster warning to be more descriptive for the users vs. Forbidden resource can't be accessed.

      Actual Results

Users can't modify Jira Align work items because we don't support HTML syntax in Jire Align Pre PM "Jira Align does not currently support HTML and JS in our description and acceptance criteria fields.
Also highlighted via JAC Bug for SQL Syntax: https://jira.atlassian.com/browse/JIRAALIGN-2747

We need better guardrails to prevent users from syncing HTML codes from Jira.

      Workaround

The user should remove the HTML syntax from the Jira Align work item and add it to a text file and save it as an attachment. Then the work item can be updated successfully.
